ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis) is the “gold standard” of “treatment” for Autism, and was created by the person as “Conversion therapy” (see Lovaas) with similar techniques and goals. It’s torture that continues to have widespread support and acceptance.

I get that there's no time where anxiety isn't a pain in the ass, but right now my kiddo has two friends over and my anxiety is so high in literally hiding in the bedroom and just trying to manage it.

Spouse is handling the chaos, but I just wish I wasn't an anxious mess in times like these 🥺

Honestly, if I've got a structure, I'm doing it unconsciously. I tend to just go with what feels right for the story. 😅

I've got nothing against it, I just don't consciously adhere to it (again, to my knowledge).
