Anyone who thinks frogs can't use the theater of the absurd to make a powerful political statement hasn't considered the timeless staying power of the phrase, "Brek-ek-ek-ek, coax! Coax!"
In other words, if you're completely unable to analyze the morality of a situation and even to state the most obvious facts in the world like, "Without ppl voting for Trump, Trump would not be president, and thus Trump voters are most responsible for Trump," ...
Blame the people that deserve blame and then invite people that you might be able to persuade to join you. Give them cookies. Chat to them about how the government affects their lives.
Do you think I was a non-voter? I'm not defending myself and I'm not unable to see the big picture. I'm telling you making posts that put more blame on non-voters on Trump voters is morally non-sensical, factually indefensible, and strategically moronic.
Portland's famous Unipiper was spotted at the Portland ICE protest where he played his bagpipes in front of Santa, Mr. Potato Head, Garfield and more -- all while surrounded by bubbles.
How about this: What about a system where people get to choose for themselves what side their on, and neither you nor anyone else gets to tell them how to vote and whether they failed, and then they get to be accountable for what they actually did?
Your entire perspective is anti-democratic. Trump voters aren't responsible for making an individual choice to vote Trump bc they aren't making individual choices, they're just on the GOP team.
But stay-at-homes ARE responsible, bc they made a choice and you didn't like that choice.
They've already proven they aren't susceptible to the "lesser of two evils" argument, so now you're just yelling at them for being horrible and disloyal and don't they know they have a responsibility to show up for their side?
BUT IT'S DEMOCRACY. It's not their side unless they choose it.
And even from a PRACTICAL standpoint, a standpoint of someone who wants to win the election and who doesn't care about morality or responsibility, just winning, running around pissing people off so that you can feel morally superior to non-voters isn't going to win non-voters over.
The Blazers may have a responsibility to play together to beat the Bulls, but the Lakers don't have a responsibility to help the Blazers just because they're both in the Western Conference.
Many of the ppl who stayed home aren't Dems and haven't been Dems in a long time if ever.
But you said that the ppl who didn't vote were responsible. Not that ppl who didn't vote are a little responsible, but way less responsible than the actual fascists for their own team.
And your sports metaphor makes it seem like we're all on the same team, but we're not.
This is just another way of saying that MAGA voters aren't responsible for their own actions bc if enough ppl had stopped them, they couldn't have installed a fascist.
But they are responsible for their own actions. And their actions are immoral. And you're saying that they're not responsible.
