"Primary everyone- except my favorites" isn't a winning strategy, it's whining to an invisible ref that it's not fair your guy doesn't just get to take the seat in a walk. I know nothing about Mills, but the worst Democrat is better than the best Republican and primaries filter out the bad Dems.

I do think the plane is right here- most of this is the alleged "Voices of the People" actually being *massive* elitists who also care more about making the Dem Establishment, which is a psychic proxy for their parents, grovel in fear and submission in front of them.

In 2025 the DSCC has less power than ever to put its thumb on the scale. Voters are passionately angry and have the power to propel candidates to upset wins. I just don't get the consternation over this

Yeah because most people mean Liberal Dems when they say "the Left." Only self-identified Leftists see themselves as set apart, the True Left, as much different from Liberals as they are from Conservatives. Everyone else sees Liberals and Leftists as pretty similar.
