You can't deny Jones in center. What holds me up is the batting and the general steep decline.
I always wonder why not andruw jones? 10 consecutive gold gloves feels like a huge deal

Wright was a good player. Voting for the Hall of Fame is a privilege and a responsibility. This is shameful.
Ballot #5 is from a voter who wishes to remain anonymous. As a refresher, we are unable to report adds or drops, if any, on anonymous ballots.

This is the first ever known David Wright-only ballot. There will not be a unanimous inductee this year.

This doesn't negate anything I said.
Shapiro has a 60% approval rating in Pennsylvania.

The fact that his choice in how to save his floundering national profile is to try to bury someone much more popular and connected than he is says all you need to know about his instincts.

Harris has no reason to lie, and the idea that the election would have turned on a different running mate - especially knowing what we know now - is absurd. ("Selling books." Jesus.) Stonewalling like this happens when the truth comes out. People don't like Shapiro, and there's a reason for it.

This sort of swing, extrapolated, along with the others we’re seeing, turns into about 250 Democrat House seats. Maybe a little less.

A 17-point swing there turns into about 250 seats.

I said years ago Nuzzi isn't a good writer. Not in ambition, sentences, or ideas. She writes like a person who never read anything outside their college homework. Yet the sainted Times and all the others called her "brilliant," "one of the finest young minds," etc. Once again they catch up.

As I said when Hegseth got in, the Guard is primarily composed of two types: former active duty who want or need to keep their hands in, and the civilian who wants education money, job training, feels duty, etc. There is a small minority who literally wants to play soldier. That is Hegseth.
Hegseth told soldiers under his command in Iraq to ignore legal advice about when they were permitted to kill enemy combatants under their rules of engagement. The anecdote is contained in a book Hegseth wrote last year in which he sharply disparaged the Geneva and Hague Conventions.

We spoke with a serving officer just below flag rank who says Hegseth and Bradley belong in prison.

Kelly isn’t saying anything that’s not said in the Pentagon every day.
Kelly: He runs around on stage talking about lethality and the warrior ethos.. That’s not the message that should be coming from the Secretary of Defense… He runs around on a stage like he’s a 12 year old playing army. It’s embarrassing.

I think what they are trying to do is set up Hegseth too in the end. Not for charges, but get rid of him. "He doesn't have control of his people."
Yes and yikes. Still, there is an obligation not to obey clearly illegal orders. It is literally in the textbook not to fire upon enemy survivors clinging to a shipwreck. The officer knew or should have known what he was doing was illegal (and wrong). He had a duty to refuse an illegal command.

A serving officer being set up to take the fall for a civilian. Yes, no danger there.

A lot of you are physicians but I don't think you need a physician to know what a "preventative MRI" is.

There will probably never be another Duke of York. At least not while we’re alive.
Britain's King Charles has officially stripped his brother Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor of his last remaining titles.

Charles directed that his titles should be “cancelled and annulled” and his name “erased” from the historic orders’ registers.

That was a totally farcical call.

Every few years the Eagles have an Offensive or Defensive Coordinator who wins them something, then he's hired away. Their next hire is always an idiot.

We were going to comment when it was deleted. We have several times - rarely - fallen for fake stories. But almost never, and we've said so. Bitecofer has not. This is dangerous. She likes seeing her name in print so much she is no longer even useful for poll analysis. She swings in the wind.

To my knowledge not to a significant degree in positions of real power, but I am not an expert, and things change all the time.
Is there a third group? Those who are on board with the atrocities and say "It's about time."? There are some in every army.
