It's a fascinating time for Americans to reacquaint themselves with the origins of some terms, like, for example quisling

“I immediately felt burning pain,” he said. “I was in shock, disoriented and terrified that I might stop breathing altogether.” religionnews.com/2025/10/24/a...

Featured in this DHS fashwave "little dark age" edit is a painting of Charlie Kirk, debuted for the MAGA crowd at the PDX ICE protests on Oct 12.

It was brought by Christian Nationalists Julie Turcol & Chris Reyes - the artist. They are deeply tied to the Proud Boys & LOKA (Leave Our Kids Alone).

By which I mean: I think the ICE bastards are just circling neighborhoods, and grabbing anyone doing outdoor work that they don't like the looks of. Landscapers, construction, etc.

One of the guys on Tuesday was a older Polish guy, too. It looks like they're after any workers, on any site.
ICE just grabbed a guy working construction in my neighborhood. I didn't see that, but I witnessed them doing the same thing on Tuesday. That is clearly another of their M.O.s now.
It sure looks like these goons are just going after anyone brown that they see working on the street

After trying to bribe Kilmer Abrego Garcia into pleading guilty by telling him they’d send him to Costa Rica if he did and to Africa if he didn’t, the Trump admin is now refusing to acknowledge that he agreed to be deported to Costa Rica — but won’t plead guilty.
Update on Kilmar Abrego Garcia: While the judge deliberates on whether to release him, DOJ says the US identified a country that will take him: Liberia. Abrego Garcia's lawyers prev had said he was willing to go to Costa Rica and that officials there were amenable; no mention of that buff.ly/sAR7n1Y

Not the point of the post, but it's extremely illegal for the Trump admin to not use the $6 billion in the SNAP contingency fund on benefits for November. In addition, USDA has broad transfer authority - like they used to make WIC whole - to help plug the gap (you need about $8 bn for the month).
I mean, if you were gullible enough to believe Bondi, I don’t know what to tell you. Everyone tapped for this administration is evil, it’s weird that some politicians decided not to believe that and confirmed them anyway.
President Trump is weaponizing the DOJ to punish his political enemies, even though AG Bondi promised the Senate under oath that this wouldn’t happen. This isn’t justice. It's corruption.
Ahem, Republican Southern New Hampshire, being evil ages you.
