Shameful opportunistic crap from an institution that just threw trans kids and young adults under the bus.

Get Audre Lorde's name out of your mouth and call it Bend the Knee Brunch.

i bring women kissing to your TL but more explicit this time
an artwork by Spindle of the characters Felt (on the left), a rabbitfolk woman with reddish pink hair, sitting and kissing Nanami (on the right), while holding her penis in her hand. Nanami (a Wyrn trans woman (Wyrns are very distant species tangentially related to Wyverns) is on her knees, above Felt, kissing her back and grabbing her breast.

On the top left of the artwork is a stylized chibi version of Nanami and Felt (respectively), Nanami is leaning on her arms smiling, and Felt's head is leaning on her hands, equally as happy

What rights will I lose today?

Tomorrow, SCOTUS will hear arguments in Louisiana v. Callais, a major threat to (what remains of) the 1965 Voting Rights Act. But this isn't the first time the VRA has faced dire threats; in 2013 and 2021, SCOTUS weakened other provisions. We can learn from those why Callais could be so dangerous 🧵

Help a disabled trans couple escape Alabama to a safer state!

Living in Alabama, as a trans couple is growing progressively more dangerous.

Our health is being actively damaged living in this house.

Please share, and if you're able, donate! Anything helps, even a dollar.

Kaidee wearing a trans flag makeup look as well as blue, white, and pink headbands and silver hoop earrings. She is also wearing a blue v-neck top.

She's so fucking cute that you should really help her move to a safer state. You know you want to.

Transness is not bourgeois. This is a wedge idea dreamed up by some gleefully amoral think tank lobotomite to split trans people and make us fight each other. That we relay on modern medicine doesn't make us any more bourgeois than someone who needs antidepressants or cleft palate repair.

We remember trailblazing transgender activist Miss Major, who has sadly passed away at the age of 78.

Miss Major began organizing before 1969’s Stonewall riots, and her love for her community has turned her into a mother figure to thousands of queer and trans people around the world.

I really, really hate it when liberals like Drennen use faux-Marxist terminology to sell their views as "radical."
taliabhatt.itch.io
I genuinely think Ari Drennen does not think of trans people who exist below a certain tax bracket, yet insists on generalizing her incredibly narrow and limited worldview to the experiences of a population pushed out of the formal economy worldwide.

This is truly outrageous: Fenway Health (formerly the Fenway Community Health Center) has a long history (over 50 years!) of offering the most queer and trans affirming healthcare in Boston. It was founded specifically by and for the queer community!
esqueer.net
Fenway health in Boston has stopped providing gender affirming care to trans youth.

I was previously on the board of this organization and I've never been so disgusted with their leadership cowardly capitulating like this.

Let them know what you think.

Gov. Healey: 617-725-4005
AG Campbell: 617-727-2200
Fenway: 617-267-0900

cis Bostonians specifically, we need you to step up. I'm already seeing my local trans circles raise hell about this, but we need you, too. I wrote a phone script. Use it and spread it:
Hello, my name is [name] and I'm a [transgender] constituent living in [City], Massachusetts. I'm calling to bring to Gov. Healey's attention the deeply alarming development coming from Fenway Health, in which they've recently announced they will no longer provide gender affirming healthcare to patients under the age of 19 in order to retain their federally recognized status. This is in utter direct violation of our state constitution, specifically Chapter 127, in which quote, "Access to reproductive health care services and gender-affirming health care services is a right secured by the constitution and laws of the commonwealth. Interference with this right, whether or not under the color of law, is against the public policy of the commonwealth." This is also in contradiction of Boston declaring itself a sanctuary city for transgender people, the resolution which states Boston has, quote, "a specific commitment to protecting transgender and gender-diverse individuals. Taxpayer-funded agencies shall not comply with federal efforts to strip resources that safeguard their rights. Boston will not cooperate with federal or state policies that harm transgender and gender-diverse people and remains committed to ensuring their access to healthcare...without fear or discrimination." As Massachusetts' first openly gay Governor, I'm aware that this past August Gov. Healey signed updated Shield laws protecting gender affirming healthcare in Massachusetts. Jordina Shanks, the CEO of Fenway Health herself, said these protections are quote, "a landmark victory for health care, human dignity... and that Massachusetts stands as a national beacon of equity and compassion." I am in complete and utter disgust, yet unsurprised, that a leading institution in gender affirming healthcare is capitulating to federal threats that are not law, and acting in direct opposition to the city of Boston and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. This is a deep betrayal of their transgender patients. I urge Gov. Healey to bring all powers of the state to investigate and reverse this gross over-compliance on the part of Fenway Health.

What purpose does a Fenway Health that abandons trans youth, and presumably will soon abandon trans adults, even serve?

At that point, you may as well shut the entire clinic down. This is tearing the entire heart out of the organization, sacrificing it's mission and sabotaging it's legacy.

"You make the best of it all and hope you can help make it a little better for the gurl after you."

- Miss Major, 2023 💔
One of the things I hear with some younger trans people I know is they feel, "I'm gonna get this surgery, and I'm gonna learn that way of speaking, and I'm gonna be done." You're never done. If you're a straight, cisgender person, you're never done. Things are always happening that have the potential to change you. So all I am today is not who I'm gonna be tomorrow, because of the things that happened to me today and later tonight. People forget that. "Oh, after I transition, I'm gonna be through." Well, good luck with that. 'Cause if you're through, then it's time to leave, you know, and I don't wanna go anywhere yet.
I'm in my seventies. Why didn't I stop? Number one is community. My gurls. I've had moments of thinking about stopping, but I didn't. I made sure I would step back, reju- venate myself, and then got back out there, and that's how you make a way. Our stories are not all the same, but the destination is: to get some place where we have some peace and harmony, and we can be at ease with ourselves and the people around us. You make the best of it all and hope you can help make it a little better for the gurl after you.
