I sat for a long time and watched as the whole thing just... worked. People who need cars or need to be driven can still get where they need to go, but the people whose lives are made worse by other people's cars aren't exposed to too many of them. It's awesome.

Bristol is about the same size as Halifax...and is funding extended bus services with money collected from a penalty for older and more polluting cars that drive in the downtown area.
Really thrilled about new overnight buses in Bristol! This is a massive step forward for making our city safer, particularly for women, and making it easier for everyone to get around our city. Thanks to all the Green Councillors for making it happen!
