It is notable that disabled rights are not as cleanly left/right split as other kinds of inclusion
Two things:
*They are only cutting these funds in seven states that lean Democratic
*Support for people with disabilities was a relatively bipartisan position. Trump has repeatedly made clear he does not see them as people worthy of support or dignity.

This NYT story failed the reader by not digging deeper. One subject dropped out of college after one year (five years ago) and lists "Windows" as his skillset. Story should be: young conservatives who blame immigrants for their personal failures and whose lives won't be improved w/ fewer immigrants

I think it's really cool that we have democratic leadership that is largely silent about this issue. A leadership that believes making a "tsk tsk" press release once every month counts as a form of political opposition while otherwise dropping the issue in its entirety.

"ICE and CBP must be abolished" is the only reasonable position. We can debate the specifics of new agencies for immigration functions, but these agencies are simply too infected with a culture of impunity, racism, and fascism to continue. They're gangs with badges.

fyi this is what capitalism will *always* devolve into. this is a feature of capitalism, not a bug. firms engage in monopoly making and anti-competitive behavior, they manipulate the political system to ensure this can continue.
