But that’s a belief. It’s a belief that one company is going to be the only company that gets the entire market. I got it, that’s a belief. That’s what some people like to chase. I understand that from their perspective, but that’s different from agreeing with them. “Understand” is different from “agree.” I think it’s fine. I mean, they’re chasing it. Some people will make money, some people will lose money. All the [infrastructure] being built will be useful if it goes away, but if they make it, then they are the sole surviving company.
Nilay, I will be clear. I am not convinced, or rather I give it really low odds — we’re talking like 0 to 1 percent — that the current set of known technologies gets us to AGI. That’s my bigger gap. I think that this current set is great. I think it’s incredibly useful for enterprise. I think it’s going to unlock trillions of dollars of productivity in the enterprise, just to be absolutely clear.
That said, I think AGI will require more technologies than the current LLM path. The most embarrassing was not the injury but the context. Big party dinner, me and dad on prep for cioppino and for whatever reason he had bought live clams and decided to hand shuck. I thought he ridiculous.
He was all stressed and rushing and not very successful at shucking and I nagged him.

I do think there's merit in explaining what the market is trying to figure out, which is... what are these co-dependent producers lending & promising, and where will the new cashflow growth come from. But this isnt the explainer needed. This is hype on inputs everyone wants to know, not "what ifs"

Moving along, this first section alleges the “irregularities”. Let’s start with this paragraph. Accounts receivable is not “hidden”, on any release. It’s a major line item of the balance sheet, part of three key statements every company releases (along with income and cash flow statements).

Saying "we still don't know" with a hint at a sigh of nostalgia is weird af.
My first political memory - exactly 62 years ago right now, a 4-year-old boy trying to understand his mom's tears - is still the biggest event in my lifetime. We still (IMO) don't *really* know who killed JFK, but we know the public's trust was shattered. It's a straight line to today's mess

I don’t know how this information can enter the system without exploding the bubble.
