This is mostly right. People are being pushed lower on the socioeconomic ladder by [insert problems with the current system] and because our culture doesn't accept anything but personal fault as the cause, people have to blame prices. It's understandable.
No, the thing is, prices aren’t actually up very much. People aren’t actually upset about prices, the discontent over “prices” is just rationalized discontent over other stuff
