Honestly the extent that people have let agriculture get away with murder is truly mind boggling

I’m curious about whether there’s similar analysis at the microinfluencer level (or different niches) — in TTRPGs some pivot to different audiences but a fair number have nuked their entire web presence.

Which is in line with the BI piece implicit suggestion you need to be big to pull off a bounce.
Years ago, my colleagues at Business Insider and I tracked YouTuber “cancellation” arcs. What we found is that for many entertainers, “cancellation” actually sets the stage for a redemption arc, one that can raise their profile higher than ever. It wasn’t career-ending. It was fuel.

Something that deserves to be said is that the fundamental argument is completely illogical, but of course that doesn't matter to a media environment that praises conservative conclusions as brave and laudable even if the rationale is idiotic.

So what we're saying is we could replace all the CEOs with LLMs?
A study by Dayforce shows 87% of executives use AI for work, compared to 57% of managers and just 27% of employees.

I think this explains the massive disconnect we see in how CEOs talk about AI versus everyone else. It also raises the question of how useful it truly is for frontline work?
Execs are embracing AI more than their employees are, new research suggests
Research from HR software company Dayforce suggests that executives are leaning into AI far more than their employees.

This is one of the biggest problems with so-called "AI". EVERY branch of computer science and thought ever accomplished is now included as part of "AI". It's a gigantic hoax. Guess what? Computers, research and algos all existed before the current hoax.
Last month, @theguardian.com framed this historical event project the same way; minimizing the years of archival work, the interviews etc it took to be able to do this.

Instead ‘AI solved this historical problem!’

I remember thinking it would be a glorious triumph for the world if we could ever wipe out cancer. We dreamed of cures, but blocking the root cause like this…wow.

I never dreamed of large organized groups trying to stop people from preventing cancer.
Australia just recorded zero cervical cancer cases in women under 25 for the first time since records began in 1982. The amazing result of HPV vaccination.

There’s a (verified) horrific video of the Israeli army executing two unarmed men and then desecrating their bodies with a bulldozer making the rounds. I’m not going to share it but I will make reference to it to emphasise that there is no ceasefire in Gaza, the West Bank or Lebanon.
