Wife got me the NFL’s “premium” package” back in ‘23, even living near Seattle about ⅓ of the 49er games (what we got the package for) were blacked out, including games like 9ers-Browns, about as out of market as they come. Wanna see 9ers-Browns while living no. of Seattle? That’ll be $40 more/mo

For a hot minute the ads were gone, the games were easy to find and the game information didn’t cater to absolutely horrific amounts of gambling interests. Now we’re in a spot where it’s *much* worse than 90’s cable era.

Trying to watch American football, pro and college via the Internet.

5 separate apps and multiple required signups and subscriptions to watch the games interested in.

Damn.

Tom was, all round, a scholar and a gent. My dad envied his quietly perfect artist’s wardrobe and treasured his friendship. As did I.

Farewell Tom Stoppard. I know I'm supposed to consider "Arcadia" your best work, but there's no improving on Brazil's taut first hour & the office dialogue in particular.

When the Democrats regain power, there must be consequences for any and all people who supported this lawlessness and crimes against humanity.

I say that because we are not at war and they don’t constitute war crimes.

It’s been straight up murder.
Remember, too, that Hegseth would have been rejected if a single additional Republican senator — or, JD Vance — had joined Sen. Collins, McConnell, and Murkowski in voting no with the Democrats. See: www.senate.gov/legislative/...

Ummmmm… cuz it’s fun?
Animals have been kissing for over 17 million years, a new study suggests.

Kissing has long perplexed evolutionary biologists, given it has no obvious benefit to reproducing or finding food, while carrying the risk of disease transmission.
When was the first kiss? Over 17 million years ago, a study suggests.
Evolutionary biologists don’t know why we kiss — but new research suggests kissing evolved long before humans existed.
