Three thoughts.

1. It’s always been about the white nationalism

2. He is returning to the old favorites because his support is waning

3. He dabbled with this trope before but would always leave a hair of deniability. Going straight there also seems like a sign of weakness

I have no surprise left to summon that Donald Trump felt no moral restraint when posting vile, juvenile and hideously racist imagery of President Obama and his wife.

I am, however, astonished that it remains up to this moment and the White House is even attempting to defend itself.

One cool thing is how I've been lectured by conservatives my whole life about morals and civility and decency just so they can all line up to support a racist pedo

I hate these graphs because they objectively show how Trump administration has flatlined American science spending via NSF. Sickening.

People often disparage the press — and we often get it wrong — but almost everything you know about this administration is not because pundits go on tv or social media and pontificate but because of relentless reporting from real journalists at institutions that give them resources to do so.

The argument that people having rights makes law enforcement more difficult is not remotely convincing.
Mike Johnson speaks out against the use of judicial warrants in immigration cases:

"Imagine if we had to go through the process of getting a judicial warrant"

Kareem talking about Harry Emerson Fosdick has me needing to read more. MLK calling him the greatest Preacher of the 20th Century is definitely high praise. Nothing wrong with spending a bit of black history month on learning about black icons influences right?

I think about strategic nonviolence like this: you are trying to defeat the greatest chess grandmaster in world history. The good news is you get to pick the game.

Don’t pick chess.
what do you make of the theory i’ve seen in various places that nonviolence really only works when it has a violent wing to back it up? “how to blow up a pipeline” argues that many successful nonviolent movements had such an arrangement

Everytime he ends a post with 'Thank you for your attention on this matter' we should assume it's an impeachable offense, or cover for one.
By this point it feels strange to say things like this and not reflexively end with a "Furthermore he should be impeached and removed from office"
Foreign countries are bribing our president to sell out the American people.

Trump family businesses made $187 MILLION from this deal, and just months later he gave the UAE some of our most top-secret AI tech.

They are selling our national security to the highest bidder.

Reporter: A Democrat won a special election in Texas in an area that you won by 17 points

Trump: I’m not involved in that. That’s a local race. I don’t know anything about it. I had nothing to do with it.

Best news I’ve heard in a minute.
Yesterday, five-year-old Liam and his dad Adrian were released from Dilley detention center. I picked them up last night and escorted them back to Minnesota this morning.

Liam is now home. With his hat and his backpack.
