45 seconds after the shooting, in the same video, the camera app appears to be visible on the agent’s phone as he walks away from Good’s vehicle.

Seeing some folks circulating fliers in New York with an AI generated face of the agent who shot Renee Good. AI cannot unmask people — the face it generates is an arbitrary guess. Remember the lesson of white Obama!

Using imagery online of the shooting by an ICE agent in Minneapolis, we’ve created an animated sequence which highlights the approximate positioning of officers and vehicles at the scene. The red dot represents the agent who fired the shots. Yellow dots are other agents who arrived at the scene.

The US military hit multiple locations across Venezuela as helicopters, jets and drones provided cover for an assault force that landed at Fort Tiuna to capture President Nicolas Maduro and the First Lady. 75 people, including civilians, were reportedly killed. Images @vantortech

Bellingcat asked the US Department of Defense if any weapons used in the operation transmitted a weapons impact assessment or other data that indicated they hit an unintended or civilian location. They responded that a Battle Damage Assessment is ongoing.
January 7, 2026 at 7:45 PM
Dr Andrei Serbin Pont, International Analyst and President of Coordinadora Regional de Investigaciones Económicas y Sociales (CRIES) confirmed to Bellingcat that the Venezuelan military does not operate the AGM-88 HARM/AARGM missile.
January 7, 2026 at 7:45 PM
The missile variant is capable of having designated missile “impact zones” and “avoidance zones” programmed to determine where the missile can or can’t impact when used on missions. Bellingcat was not able to determine what caused the missile to strike the apartment building.
January 7, 2026 at 7:45 PM
These missiles are designed to target ground-based radar emitting targets, such as air defence systems like the Buk-M2E used by Venezuela’s military.
US Navy aircraft were photographed in the region with AGM-88E AARGM missiles in the weeks before the operation.
January 7, 2026 at 7:45 PM
According to visual evidence and experts, the remnants seen in the videos taken at the apartment building appear to show an AGM-88 series missile. A BSU-60 tail fin that can be seen in one aftermath video is used exclusively with the AGM-88 series missile.
