Honestly I think the best apologia for religion is that the existence of a Higher Power intangible to mortals irrespective of the wealth, glory, power, or fame they accumulate is that people of great wealth, power, fame, and glory need to be reminded they're not Gods.

UHEU is difficult to get though. The materials to make the enrichment centrifuges are difficult to manufacture and tightly controlled and monitored.

If you want your campaign setting to be anti-woke there's nothing stopping you, and absolutely hundreds of (especially older) premades you can use that glorifies men, racial purity, violence against women, and traditional gender relations. Nobody said you couldn't.
