Can you imagine a whole party like this?
Someone tell the Dems that being likable and having clear opinions on things is a political benefit, we must make the most out of this thrilling and novel discovery

Groundbreaking 😂
Turns out charisma goes a long way in politics!

We’re entering an era shaped by AI, automation, rising development across the Global South, & an increasingly multipolar world.

These forces have the potential to liberate, but only if we build institutions that ensure this abundance benefits people—not a wealthy minority or a few dominant nations

People act like tuition-free college is a crazy thing, but the US has a long history of it.

My parents did their undergrad at CUNY in the late 60s/early 70s and didn't pay a dime.
We need to reject the urge to simply stand against bad policies, fighting back looks like advocating FOR the people.

People STILL need healthcare, tuition-free college, student debt cancellation, fair representation at all levels of government, clean air and water, etc.

Sure. I have been politically active because I am invested in America's national evolution. I want to see it live up to its ideals an work for all of us.
Man I'm pretty drunk but I sure do love America

All its low-down dirtiness and cosmopolitism and revolutionary ideas about souls created equal by God with the inalienable human right to rule themselves

This messy beautiful place. No one can talk me out of my love for this stupid fuckin country

Probably the biggest mistake of his career, tbh.
Every day I think about how Freud couldn’t handle the idea of all these women he treated being victims of sexual predation in childhood so he came up with other theories to explain it away

The only person with the authority to release the Epstein Files today is the same individual whose name appears most often in Jeffrey Epstein’s emails.

Stand with survivors. Release the Epstein Files.

Contrary to all the screeching and howling being done about the fate of NYC with more progressive taxation.
NEW: The first two years of Massachusetts' millionaire tax has raised $3 billion more than expected.

And rather than driving the rich away, IPS researchers found that the number of millionaires has *increased.*

Tax the rich. Greg Ryan in @bloomberg.com:
Millionaire Tax That Inspired Mamdani Fuels $5.7 Billion Haul in Massachusetts
A millionaire levy in Massachusetts that New York City mayoral frontrunner Zohran Mamdani holds up as a model for taxing the rich has generated $3 billion more in revenue than expected without forcing...

89% didn't know!? WTF!?

How is that possible??
holy shit: “Among the 2,000 UK adults surveyed, 85% were unaware that Britain forcibly transported more than 3 million Africans to the Caribbean, 89% did not know that Britain enslaved people in the Caribbean for more than 300 years” www.theguardian.com/world/2025/n...

This is an interesting concept. I'd argue it's "center-left" not ultraleft; a Democratic Socialist meets Futurist realpolitik for the age of AI.

Squarely in the Liberal Socialist tradition, not Marxism.

"DNA of abundance socialism: market-powered innovation, socially guaranteed security."

‘Death remains my intimate shadow partner. It has been with me since birth, always hovering close by. I understand one day we will finally waltz together into the ether. I hope when that time comes, I die with the satisfaction of a life well-lived, unapologetic, joyful, & full of love.’

Three Things I Don't Like:

1. Using systemic analysis to escape taking personal accountability.

2. Using personal accountability-speak to be dismissive or cold towards the impact of systemic oppression.

There are internal & external factors involved in most things.

Both/and not either/or.

It's important to name and understand the role capitalism plays in structurally producing poverty — but its also important not to overextend that analysis into pretending people's individual agency is meaningless or powerless to uplift ones circumstances.

Doing so is extremely disempowering.

The crises of the 21st century are not limited to the economic or the institutional; they are profoundly psychosocial. Conspiracy thinking, loneliness, identity fragmentation, anxiety disorders, and the erosion of interpersonal trust all point to deeper developmental ruptures.
