I could see this as a uniquely 21st Century American variant of Social Democracy.
Compatible with the Municipal Socialist precedence set by Zohran Mamdani in NYC and the ascendancy of DSA candidates running for city and state offices all over the country.

I unfortunately hear this a lot. I was having a discussion earlier about the attached post below. I think it's partially true, but also developing financial literacy is not mutually exclusive with organizing against systemic oppression or capitalist exploitation.

The point of centering debating with college students was to make liberal and left-wing politics seem incoherent, immature and like the idealistic beliefs of sheltered kids -- not serious politics for grown-ups and the Real World.

Many are confused as to why so many marginalized communities aren't mourning Charlie Kirk reverently.
For one, he had a habit of mocking our dead.
For some reason, there was way less uproar when he said these things.
Saying violent things in a calm tone doesn't make it "civil".
