Because I don’t even glance at the news lest it turn my feeble heart weak, I missed that Tesco has utterly fucked the UK’s inflation figures. Because 20% of the stuff in there has a “clubcard price” which is around what the MSRP normally is, and a non-clubcard price (5-20% more)

I tool the bike out for a while around the back roads of the Franklin district in Auckland to get some throttle therapy and fresh air. I was going at a decent, but legal pace, when I came upon a car stopped pretty much in the middle of the road 1/

Imagine sitting down for a drink or a meal with people whose company you enjoyed & being told by management that half of the table would be now occupied by people who just wanted to shout ‘C**t’ at you. The exodus has absolutely nothing to do with ‘opinions’. Media reports must reflect this more.
