LEAD CHANGE: Mejia, the Bernie/AOC-endorsed candidate, is now ahead of Malinowski.

And she’s been dominating Election Day ballots, so something would have to change for Malinowski to take it back.

👀 Apparently, Ross Douthat invited Seth Harp to debate him on Douthat's "Interesting Times" NYT podcast. Harp says that the episode was recorded, Douthat got crushed, and RD/NYT decided not to publish it.

Why Drew Brees Was The Best Leader I’ve Ever Seen

Drew treated everyone the same—from the backup to the janitor. Never acted above anyone. Made people feel valued. And he loved the grind.

If you won’t say this, you should not hold public office
AOC: We are going to have to reckon, as a country, with this time. And I hope that that reckoning includes prosecution of people who are involved with the lawbreaking and human rights violations they are knowingly engaging in right now.

Basically the only surgery trans kids might need is breast removal. It is rare. They might need the surgery if they couldn’t access puberty blockers in time to keep from growing breasts. It’s a surgery that is usually given to cis boys who grow breasts. There is no controversy over that practice.

Mentor. Share your knowledge. Expect nothing back. Much like the people who mentored you did.

And if no one did, be the mentor you wish you had. Be more to the arts than the words you leave behind. Help create the next generation of talent. It's on us to make a better future than we were raised in.

Modern high-performance chips simply won't work in space. People should educate themselves on the effects of cosmic radiation on electronics, the process of radiation hardening, and why shielding is ineffective. The very trends that enable modern GPUs on Earth are what render them unusable in space.

This is why there are so many discounts now. Linked your Prime? Discount. Ordered 5 times? Discount. Applied a discount? Discount.

It makes you feel like you're saving money, even though in reality you're paying more (where do you think the money to pay programmers 6-figure SV salaries comes from?)
You really should directly compare what you’d pay on Grubhub or DoorDash to what you’d pay if you ordered direct from the restaurant - the price difference is often shocking.
I did an experiment with my fav local Chinese restaurant where I normally take out

Pulled up the app and selected what I wanted and looked at the price.

Called the restaurant and ordered.

The restaurant is 7 minutes away, 3 miles

There was a $30+ difference. These apps are a fucking ripoff
