Weird and pissed off. All manner of retro pop culture references to baffle anyone under 40 and occasional rants. May make uninformed comments about the football. #totp #coys #forgotten80s

Random Shit in My Head Productions Present:
The meme featuring the two guys from American Chopper arguing. I've replaced their heads with aliens from Mars Attacks and they're cries of "AK AK AK!" become louder and more distorted in each frame.

You just had to remember it though, didn't you.

Or keep a collection of travel cards with numbers on like I did.

Everyone of my generation can still remember their home number from childhood, and the number for Saturday Superstore.

If anyone needs me I will be in the museum, lying down next to the bog bodies.
Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing?
2? Questions
I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up.
Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?

Not too much unless you're watching Netflix outside all weekend or downloading huge files.

I've managed with a plan of 20gb a month for years. I don't think I've ever gone over 5gb in a month.

Lower Decks is the best Star Trek since the original series. IMO.

It's the texture.
I've tried so hard to like chickpeas but can't get on with it.

Everyone else in the house eats hummus but even the smell makes me heave.

This is a huge moment in linear broadcast TV. When I began my TV career in 2005, even history documentaries were expected to get 2 million viewers

Last month, something unusual happened in TV - none of the main channels got a million viewers at 9pm. The bigger problem was it happened a 2nd & 3rd time soon after.

Another unwelcome landmark for linear TV & our shrinking shared TV experience.

Does it matter?

What a crappy old monday.

One of those days I really wish there was loads of chocolate in the house, but I'm glad there isn't because I'd scoff the lot.
joescaramanga.co.uk
Yeah, I'm good thanks. Just monday blues.

Don't make me tap the Robert Pattinson quote, Leto.
“I always say about people who do method acting, you only ever see people do the method when they’re playing an assholes,” Pattinson said in an interiew with Variety in November. “You never see someone being lovely to everyone while they’re really deep in character.”

Haha! Not a problem for me.

I used to like him but not now.

On what would have been Lenny Bruce's 100th birthday, I've just skipped through three episodes of Alexei Sayle's Stuff on YT trying to find that very short skit he did about Bruce's death.

Something along the lines of "He was killed by intolerance, by oppression... that and all the drugs he did."
