There's nothing wrong with being "televisual" rather than cinematic.

The death of multi-camera TV: a thread. I know most of you will know the technical parts of this (and may have read it in the other place) but bear with me. 1/ 🧵
A shot from the studio rehearsal of Doctor Who: The Daleks' Master Plan episode 'Volcano', showing several actors ont he TARDIS set, with various video cameras around the scene.

Excellent thread Andrew. Not everything has to look like a film but somehow it has.

@andreworton.bsky.social Just read your Castrovalva Black Archive and it was brilliant! Really enjoyed your insights on the mechanics of actually making it and the philosophical concerns I'd not thought about before. Excellent work!

I'm working on the #Blakes7 Production Diary Series C today after a short break. It's great to be diving back in! To get the creative juices kick-started though, I quickly mocked up another in the occasional 'Blake's 7 Things That Don't Exist That Should Exist' series. #FakeMerch

My Dad absolutely adored Morse Moose and used to play it loud.
This was also the album playing when the tape player in the car started smouldering, throwing out smoke as we drove down Weymouth seafront when I was 4! Very memorable!

This was a huge childhood favourite and remains a favourite to this day. I love the title track which is beautifully melancholy and the very understated I'm Carrying.

That makes everything better.

After all these years, I've finally finished watching Battlestar Galactica. What a series it was. Bleak but it ended with hope.

Brilliant stuff Simon! You capture why it was so compelling to us all.

Complete fantasists. I was a school governor for 10 years, teachers really don't have time to do anything other than teach their lessons. This would never happen in the classrooms I frequently visited.

My grandparents on both sides had them. I never quite got why!

Now, I know you've all wondered what the Blake's 7 theme would sound like if it was arranged by Ronnie Hazlehurst and had a sax solo in the middle, haven't you?

Well wonder no more!
