an aside to an aside, but to clown on them further, Epic can't even be bothered to implement a reasonable migration tool for game installs. Their official docs are the hackiest thing. www.epicgames.com/help/en-US/e...

4. Locate the game you want to move. Click on the three dots next to it and click on Uninstall.
5. Once the game is uninstalled, click on the game in your Library to start installing it and select the new installation location you would like it to be in.
6. Once the download begins, after 2-3% is downloaded click on the three dots next to the game name and click on Cancel Install.
7. Navigate to the new installation directory you selected for the game and copy the backed up game folder to this location. Along with being spoiled for choice of decent to great alternatives to the worsened popular solutions, and a wealth of resources to show a normal user how to use them. The issue I've found folks have is time to learn and patience with quirks and differences.
i think it's useful to look at areas where the *tech* has gotten much better while tech *interactions* have gotten way worse. streaming has gotten worse, google search has gotten worse, digital cameras are leaps better. apple's silicone is so good it's threatening their user upgrade cycle
it’s so weird to look around and realize like, tech and media are materially worse than a decade ago

Me and wife have been going through the Sailor Moon Viz dub. Its been really fun hearing a lot of video game actors I recognize.
Amazon has rolled out AI dubbed anime and I’m truly appalled. Like it or loathe it, the medium has a rich, incredible history of English performances. There’s already a million reasons to hate Amazon, but fuck me.

Well, didn't expect a mod companion quest in New Vegas to resolve and port me to Doc Mitchell's at Goodsprings . . . before I could finish another quest I had in the area. I feel like we could have gone to the Followers doctor by Crimson Caravan come on now.

Devs were only allowed a few (I believe two) tickets per nomination before Geoff charged them. Resale tickets were in the hundreds. And we all know what happened to Future Class (if you don’t, read my piece).

I think the audience for big-budget AAA military shooters probably aren't and wouldn't be interested in indie FPS anyway, but it's a damn good jumping off point to talk about those cool indie FPS titles anyway. Dominic's rattled off a load of neat looking games, so go have a look and check em out!
I really hate how Call Of Duty just sucks the oxygen out of the room. So, the campaign in the annual corporate franchise sucks this year? There's been more words written about that than probably EVERY OTHER FPS RELEASED THIS YEAR COMBINED.

Destiny might be the biggest gap in gaming history between how good a game feels to play in the immediate second after pressing a button and how miserable it is to actually play
