There's surveillance footage of this that has been posted in other news articles, I won't share it because it's very disturbing, but the car driver hits the mother TWICE: stops after hitting the mother & child, then while she's lying in the road the driver goes again and drives over her.

I live close to this intersection and actively avoid it because it feels so dangerous. Cars rip down 16th, don't stop for pedestrians...

Of course, the city does nothing. Pedestrian safety just isn't a priority. And this will only get worse with the upcoming budget cuts.

I just watched the video of the Portland Cop threatening to arrest an ICE agent if they drive their truck through a crowd. Now I see this where the General of the Oregon National Guard says if they get called up they will protect the protesters. People are fed up.
