fwiw in the 80s I wrote a rough synopsis for a Web of Fear sequel which - with no humility whatsoever - I reckon would’ve been better than this (tho I’d never been able to turn it into a proper script bc I can’t write dialogue for shit)

Maybe this is unpopular, but when we received food from a food bank, it was always really special when we'd get treats. We didn't often get special snacks or name brands, and it made it feel a little less like we were getting the bottom of the barrel

Finally figured out how to articulate my feeling after watching Inception (2010) for the first time; ya know that Francis Fukuyama ‘End of History’ thing? That. That is how I felt, but as in “after this, is there anywhere left for cinema to go?”
