Had a dream that @jeffparker.bsky.social said he'd found something he thought I'd like and when I looked out my window he'd brought me a beautiful 1000 acre park full of sunbathing girls and dogs that wanted to play fetch.

Watching this while I work on some stuff tonight. Can feel @ffrancavilla.bsky.social nodding his head in approval.

Sorry, but you don’t get to drone strike vessels and double tap the survivors in international waters and then pretend you care about military law.
The Pentagon announced Monday it is investigating Democratic Sen. Mark Kelly of Arizona over possible breaches of military law after the former Navy pilot joined a handful of other lawmakers in a video that called for troops to defy "illegal orders."

The president has illegally declared war to stop fentanyl trafficking from a country that does not traffic that drug, claiming its leader is trafficking drugs himself, the day after pardoning a former leader of a country who is a convicted drug trafficker.

The “kill them all” order by SecDef Hegseth would be a textbook war crime even if the original attack had been legal.
It is unfathomable that the USG lawyers would sign off on a no-survivors boat strike (no get of jail free card).

There's clear precedent dating back to World War II trial of Germans for that very act, which lawyers know well.

I tend to forget western paperbacks, but some of my favorite artists did work in the field, like these examples by George Gross.

I'm proofreading some material I wrote a couple days back, when I was apparently in a mood to add an abundance of stray quotation marks in random places simply from a sense of whimsy.

A half-dressed woman with a machine gun. A train. A screaming gorilla. And a title of "Who's Afraid of Honky-Tonky?"

I truly love old Italian comics.

I can’t stop thinking about how happy I am that I stopped at Trader Joe’s on the way home from Helioscope today and they had those good purple sweet potatoes.

Just finished a script for the 1st issue of an unannounced series. 8164 words and 55 reference images.

That's about the usual word range of my scripts. A bit high on the range of reference images, but 🤷‍♂️ they were needed.
