Lost in the "better training" narrative is what training these people have already received. They've actually been trained to be hateful, trigger-happy cowboys who try to escalate every situation hoping it leads to conflict. They need to be UNTRAINED in that, not trained in something on top of it.

As a trumpet player myself, even more respect for playing a brass instrument in those temperatures!

I sincerely don’t even understand how this is supposed to work. There just … won’t be an economy? We just all get infinite money? Or is AI going to cover the mortgage?
Elon Musk (net worth $600 billion+) says people shouldn't worry about saving for retirement because, in 20 years, everyone will have everything they want thanks to AI.

The fact that it can't actually replace ANY job, because it doesn't work, is also important here.
the discourse on what jobs are acceptable to replace with generative AI reveals a lot about what we think of other people's jobs
