I think what's bothering me about all these statements I'm seeing from politicians that are variations of "Israeli hostages and Palestinians are returning to their homes, yay" is that Israelis are returning to their homes and Palestinians are returning to uninhabitable post apocalyptic rubble.

this is just a way of saying that growing up Arab in the west raises you with an awareness of how indifferent people are to your life. Still, I'm not sure how prepared I was for political statements or deflections that continues to justify or defend Israel's behavior over the last two years.

I remember after 9/11 my neighbor got a license plate that said 'nuke 'em'.

My dad asked who he wanted to nuke and he said 'the terrorists'.

Dad pointed out nukes would kill many civilians, tho not sure it registered with our neighbor.

To pass your agenda a Dem will need 60 votes in the Senate & a majority in the house. In every battleground state voters need to show up to give a Dem President the power to deliver without negotiating. If we fail to do that, we cant complain when what's delivered is watered down
