there are a lot of democrats over in my part of the world who don't think Ilhan Omar represents them and they run primaries. So far the primaries have failed, but folks trying to run primaries against an elected official they don't like is called democracy, not "tearing the party apart."

Look into the history of abortion opposition - it wasn't until 1965 that the Church view on abortion shifted from one of sexual sin to taking a life.

There is a SIGNIFICANT difference in saying something is a sin vs. a crime. This whole thing is an American invention.
