That's frankly a lifelong legacy of having to present and defend work from doing crit in multiple art classes through two degrees to working advertising, which is an incredibly frank and bruising experience.

I also need to know if I'm the subject matter expert or just the guy that knows the software, like does my input count or not?

Also, I have a real tendency to fight for my ideas. I've only recently realized that this comes off as SUPER HOSTILE to people.

I have a really hard time with ambiguous roles in things. I always want to use the RACI system because I end up with things like "Oh I'm your boss, but it's this person's event, but I need to see it and oh, here's another person's input."

I need to know who is doing what.

The one thing about me that doesn't translate well into social media is that there is a type of personality, the non-confrontational, dislikes any friction, wants to communicate with subtle messaging or have an intermediary, to whom I am the World's Greatest Asshole.

Well I have bad news. Ellie the cat tested positive for bladder cancer. She's restarting chemo next week. Appreciate any positive vibes for her. This is hard for cats to beat.
