i don't think this is even a real statistical anomaly anymore. it seems like there's someone in the crowd at every mass shooting who has been through it before. this doesn't have to be our shared cultural experience.

This study predicts UK energy spending to halve by 2050, as part of our ‘rush’ to net zero….:) Five years ago I flagged this incredible fact in my book Manifesto - we spend £50 billion a year to bring oil and gas into our country - just to burn it. Good to see it in this study.

I was concerned that Dr Mary-Ann Stephenson might try and be smarter about transphobia than her predecessors and leave trans people in a shit place than was harder to rectify because it wasn’t so obvious.

Fourth, neither Kuenssberg (or Mary-Ann Stephenson) even contemplate that trans people might have rights too, to live in their right gender. All they can say is that they should merely not be left without any spaces at all - ie they should become a third sex.
