I've seen some people saying lately that feminism is dead. I don't think it is dead, but it is on the back foot fight now.
The remnants of feminism's second wave allied with the patriarchy to crush the third wave. Those of us of the third wave who haven't sold out need to hold the line.

It’s almost like art in conversation with its inspiration keeps the past alive or something.
I would venture (no pun intended) that a lot of the modern interest in Johnny Quest wouldn’t have happened without the Venture Brothers.
Hank & Dean (and Rusty) have helped keep Johnny Quest “alive” as it were. They did what two revivals / reboots couldn’t do.

So many people in comics do so much of the heavy lifting for all the cool shit you see in other media like games, movies and cartoons. Do any of the folks in comics that actually created these things get paid any kind of royalties? No.
