This is lore-accurate. Clerics are only proficient with bludgeoning weapons.

Something ancient and wonderful for the weekend! 🤩

The world’s oldest known sculpture of a horse!

This tiny figurine was carved from mammoth ivory by an Ice Age artist some 40,000 years ago!

I've curated my followers to the point that this is probably preaching to the choir, but read it anyway. Vaccinate.
I cannot even begin to express my rage at this lie

reading this through me back into my pandemic EMT life, attempting to resuscitate a child experiencing a cardiac arrest secondary to COVID while a father says “we heard that the vaccine was riskier than COVID for kids” and a mother wails in agony
NEW: The F.D.A. announced in an internal memo that 10 children died "because of" the Covid shot. Other experts want to see proof.

“This is a profound revelation,” Dr. Prasad's memo said. “For the first time, the U.S. F.D.A. will acknowledge that Covid-19 vaccines have killed American children.”

Sharing for wider reach. Look at these beauties.
I’m interested to know: if you were the sort of person who might buying a handmade wooden-handled knife (or a pair/set), what sort would be of most interest?

- Steak
- Pocket/craft
- Chef’s
- Other (e.g. bread/carving/cake)

No poll function here, so a quick comment would be welcome...

This artist designs intricate suits of armor. The intended wearer? A humble mouse

It's interesting to compare the tone of this FT article about Warhammer to all the "let's all point and laugh at the sad anoraks" pieces about Star Trek conventions in the 80s and 90s.

Please PLEASE read this properly. I cannot have you send back the book to me because you didn’t accurately read the information and just wanted a print: a book I can’t resell because I personalised it to you.

Why would I just give away my mum’s prints for free for no reason?

Contd…
Newsflash for those in the UK: I have the most BRILLIANT selection of my mum's original art to give away, with a handful of signed hardbacks of this.

Cover price plus p&p (art is entirely free).

Please email your address to [email protected] if you'd like to grab them before they're gone.

At BCT, we believe — and the evidence shows — that bats and people can thrive together. Thriving communities, new homes, modern infrastructure and strong wildlife protections are not opposites and framing them as such is both irresponsible and harmful. www.bats.org.uk/news/2025/11...

This is cool. Now wondering about a use case for 418.
When Sir Tim Berners-Lee created the World Wide Web, he introduced simple numeric codes to describe what was happening with each request. You might be familiar with:
200 “OK”
404 “Not Found”

Among those early web codes was 402, “Payment Required”

France plans to spend $150 million to rip out grape vines due to wine industry woes from increasing heat, drought, etc

Yet planting rows of trees around vines can drought- & heat-proof them while keeping production up w/o irrigation

I reported about this #agroforestry solution in southern France:

(The only bananas we like are those tiny ones, which would not have been useful for scale.)
