Okay, so, there's people in the comments arguing over this and I'm kind of scared that they don't see "US America" is a possibility, like, that's what I started saying after a friend from South America pointed this out to me. Like, maybe they've not noticed "US American" is common...
I don't mind being called USian. I get why. In my work I've been trying to minimize the use of "Americans" as a term when I can, instead saying "people in the US".
It's a little thing, but I don't think it matters much.

Okay, but real talk, why do we even need sex on birth certificates? My birth cert doesn't list how much I weighed, my eye color, or my race, just my name, parents, & where/when I was born. Why does the government need to know if I had a baby dick or a baby cunt? It's weird, I don't respect it.

I've been trying to explain this emotion to my therapist and even myself. How building community among severely marginalized Disabled Queer folks is agonizing at times because it's the unsupported supporting each other, victims of a sunk ship clinging to each other like a human life raft...
