In case anyone's wondering what level of derangement nerds are currently at, the qrts to this post are filled with screeching over how we apparently want people to lose their jobs with the demise of the MCU. Because, you know, that franchise doesn't have a stranglehold on the industry or anything
Doomsday has a cast of 33…so far. Many of them are big names who won’t come cheap. This movie is going to need to gross $1 billion to turn a profit, and the audience for Marvel has fallen off big time. With any luck it’ll kill off the MCU and superhero movies can have independent identities again.

As the qrts to this show, it's frustrating and sad how in the immediate aftermath of his passing, someone as prolific and important as Stoppard can be reduced down to a cudgel for nerds -- who didn't even know he existed -- to use against their petty decades-long grudge against another artist
Tom Stoppard has sadly passed away at the age of 88. The famous playwright did uncredited script polishing for Revenge of the Sith and wrote the iconic Darth Plagueis speech.
