the thing is that the right wing press does have to boost these fucking lost causes like scientific racism in D&D because they couldn't actually sustain themselves in the ecosystem; D&D is designed for mass appeal gang; if the idea had any kind of popularity at all it would have been adopted

the problem I have with the piece right now is that it is genuine hopepunk, it feels sincere but it reads as woo woo bullshit to me, it feels clueless to try and wish for a good outcome from such a bad comic and such bad discourse about that comic, y'know?

the thing is I already had to scrap a piece earlier this year, I'd hate to scrap another one just because "it's not good" and "you're being painfully incoherent and yet patronizing" and "your grasp of the subject matter while well intentioned is tenuous at best, and you're bordering on offensive"
