They also still don't want to even begin to understand how Disney is in fact not "keeping theaters open" by being so successful at the box office, but rather holding them hostage with the sheer amount of films they pump out and hog up screens

Nerds are too childish to remember this, but back before Disney accelerated the death of mainstream cinema, there was a moderately healthy amount of competition among the big Hollywood studios. Because one of those studios hadn't owned most of everything yet, there was no thinning-out of vfx houses.

Reminder that Snyder first worked with Notaro by doing something that films like Deadpool 2 didn't even bother to attempt: do away with a scumbag actor in reshoots soon after they were outed. Digitally inserting Notaro most likely took more work than it would have to simply excise TJ Miller
