Northwestern’s leaders will likely try to justify their choice to appease fascist extortion with some BS about needing to help researchers get federal funds that were illegally withheld, so it’s important to note that virtually all of the researchers said not to.
So apparently the administrators at Northwestern have caved to the extortionist demands of the Feds. Faculty voted 595-4 AGAINST this measure.

Ukrainian forces struck overnight Afipsky refinery, Beriev aircraft plant in Taganrog where Tu-95 bombers are modernized sparking fire in the repair shop, and destroyed a 5000-cubic-meter tank at Tuapse oil terminal, General Staff reported.
Ukraine struck Afipsky oil refinery in Krasnodar region, one of southern Russia's largest refineries processing 6 million tons annually, with locals reporting fires at the facility.
