Fantastic autumn day in my part of the world, passed loads of folk out enjoying the weather including a mate who's had some surgery, and can't wipe his arse properly. Be thankful for what you have lads.

Might figure out what time to put Get Carter on on New Year's Eve so Alf hits the car at the stroke of midnight.
Just spotted that BBC2 are showing Get Carter tonight at 11pm, so if you're a fan of seeing Alf Roberts get chucked off a car park you're in luck.

incredible anecdote in one of Phil Jackson’s memoirs: Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls accidentally drank *Gaterlode*, a high-carb drink, in an NBA Finals game

“Each of the players, it was estimated, had ingested the equivalent of about twenty baked potatoes.”

The mosaics feature motifs such as peacocks drinking from a fountain, geometric patterns, ribbon designs, or an eight-pointed star. About 80% of the mosaic has survived intact.
