Also, not to put too fine a point on it, but we rightly push back on the argument that Christians doing bad things in the name of their belief system aren't real Christians, and that's not a thing that only happens with religious belief.

It's largely lost today because we've allowed constitutional law to become the exclusive preserve of lawyers, but the original idea of written constitutionalism was partly one of public education, publicity, & (proto-)democracy—people should be able to read & come to know the law which binds them
The evidence is the text. All you have to do is read the Constitution.

A reminder:

This isn’t ideology
This isn’t incompetence
This isn’t business as usual
This isn’t temporary
This isn’t normal
This isn’t ethical
This isn’t legal
This isn’t meant to be popular
This isn’t meant to be good for anyone

This has been a strategic attack against the U.S.

Act accordingly

I find this theory plausible, but even if that's how it pans out I wonder whether the votes are there to make it both an emphatic ruling and a unanimous one.
People keep asking “why would they even grant cert if they weren’t going to rule for Trump on this” and my answer remains because Roberts realized this is the appropriate time—or at least the least-worst time—to finally deal with The Big Case Trump Actually Loses To Protect the Court’s Legitimacy™️.
I continue to believe the Trump admin will lose on this. There has not been a single judge who agreed with them.

We need to stop using any U.S. tech. It will be the end for us if we continue. U.S. tech is screwing our brains with propaganda and conspiracy theories, and they can be turned off for us if the moron in the White House has a bad day.
It's a matter of survival.

No. It's shameful.
Has Hakeem Jeffries, Chuck Schumer, Kirsten Gillibrand, or any other high ranking minority member in either the house/senate come anywhere close to releasing a similar public statement of solidarity against the unlawful program of racial terror

Also, along with institutional reform, the platform must be “We are resetting everything to January 20, 2025 by repealing every illegal Trump EO on Day 1, & many senior Trump government & DOGE criminals are going to jail for the rest of their lives.”
🇺🇸 trifectas get shot at doing something

Obama chose policy (ACA). It didn’t fix the authoritarian problem

Biden chose policy (ARP/IRA). It didn’t fix the authoritarian problem

The platform must be institutional reform next time. Right from the start, as @dhnexon.bsky.social said
If we want to actually be a representative democracy, then the platform needs to be institutional reform. All the Popularism and all the policies follow from that, not the other way around.

On Aug 24, 1869, Ohio Rep. Elon Musk is worse at hiding it but this is the problem with all billionaires: they are a threat to democratic governance. They have an insatiable need to own and control everything. If you want to be free you have to curb their power, and demand political leaders who understand that

You're also a war criminal in the sense that Putin's a war criminal for invading Ukraine in what he insists isn't a war but a special military operation. You can commit war crimes by doing warlike stuff outside the context of war.
