A key thing about J6 public opinion was Republicans were split on condemnations, defense and silence particularly as corporate America withdrew from election deniers. Hitting numbers that low again now with so many corporations openly bending the knee is wild.
For reference: Trump's lowest approval rating in his first term was right after January 6th, at 34/62. He is as or nearly as unpopular now as he was when January 6th was fresh in people's minds.
Four polls in recent days now have Trump in the 30s, with 3 at 35%-36%: 2/

My Facebook account is generic, just following some local buy / sell stuff and it's disgusting seeing how the site surfaces the nastiest transphobic posts targeting Rep. McBride. Even her own posts are flooded with chuds misgendering and deadnaming her and the site does nothing about it.

Just want to reiterate: Lizza and Nuzzi's ethical lapses are not representative of the DC press corps, which includes a ton of tireless public interest reporters who actually care about holding powerful people accountable, including at trade pubs.
