To cap off my day, a driver veered into the bike lane on 8th St NE just ahead of me. I yelled, swerved and continued on. That driver then proceeded to speed up the street, screaming profanities at me, then crossed the double yellow around a line of cars waiting at Monroe to continue screaming. Fun!
Absolute whiplash with work news today and I'm over it.
Stood up after a meeting and my legs immediately went out from underneath me. I caught myself before I fell, but how embarrassing. Probably the 100 lunges I did yesterday.

Power BI definitely sounds like a queer thing, not a Microsoft business application.

You know, you have your twinks, power bis, etc.

Don't forget the OG sharkfin cable modem
A "LANcity personal modem," a large gray metal device with nine metal "fins" on top.
That's going around today, man. Solidarity. ✊

Love when people come up to a queue and ask "is this the line?" Like no, we just like standing single file.
It would make sense, but I'm not a scientist.
Yep, that's why I wonder if there's a connection. We grew up without the constant dopamine hits of social media, and I don't really know many smokers.
Rascal also loves our commute!
Would love to see a study investigating a link between the rise of social media and other addictive behaviors. Feels like my generation largely shunned nicotine but the youngins are all sucking on their vapes now.
The best gibberish Amazon brand name I've seen so far is the Sweetcrispy Garment Steamer.
MA and ME should build a bridge from Rockport to York, create an alternate I-95 and starve NH of toll, liquor, and fireworks revenue.
I can't find any that actually fit me, but maybe I'm trying the wrong ones. I just bought a few more Bonobos Performance Link pants.
We obviously have to make accommodations for people who can't mark a ballot by hand, but we shouldn't be undermining trust in the system by using touchscreens or other ballot marking devices.
Sigh. Also we're making this far more complicated than we need to. Everyone should get a paper ballot, mark it by hand, and feed it into a tabulator. Best of both worlds: quick results from the tabulator with the ability to audit the paper ballots by hand if need be.
One Republican Now Controls a Huge Chunk of US Election Infrastructure
Former GOP operative Scott Leiendecker just bought Dominion Voting Systems, giving him ownership of voting systems used in 27 states. Election experts have concerns.

Finally found work shirts that fit well and don't cost a fortune - Quince Organic Cotton Stretch Twill dress shirts. Just wish they came in more colors.
A man with a neatly trimmed beard and mustache, wearing round, black-framed glasses, takes a selfie. He has a partially shaved head with his remaining dark hair styled up in the front. He's wearing a light blue collared dress shirt tucked into gray trousers with a dark belt. The background is an office, with a wooden desk or counter on the left that has a small cardboard box on it. The lighting is bright.
I might argue that Fetterman is the one tearing the party apart, and Dems are just trying to get someone who will... I dunno, act like a Democrat?

SCOOP: Top Democrats in Pennsylvania are maneuvering to run against Sen. John Fetterman in a 2028 primary, threatening to tear the party apart in the biggest battleground state in the nation.
Scoop: Dems plot Fetterman ouster
He's still popular with Pennsylvania voters, even as Democrats turn on him.
