It’s been about a month since we said goodbye to Gus. These two, Mabel the Frenchie and Heidi the pug, have learned to get along as sisters in the time since. They didn’t even particularly like each other but they are making it work.

When I wrote this the main objection I heard was that soldiers and officers should stay in so they could spontaneously resist illegal orders. Subsequently the Commander in Chief accused US Senators of treason for saying that. Please wake up. Leave the military.
