The good news for farmers is that there are robust foreign markets for our soybeans. 🙄

Until he ran for mayor this year, Andrew Cuomo hadn’t lived in NYC since (I think) he sold that Douglaston house in 1993. Needing to establish residency to run for mayor, Cuomo moved into his daughter’s $8,000-a-month Upper East Side apartment earlier this year.
A view of midtown Manhattan from the amenity roof deck at Andrew Cuomo’s upper east apartment (actually his daughter’s apartment).

Sadly, handsy Andy had to leave Albany a few years ago. With no home to call his own, lucky boy landed temporary digs in his friend’s Southampton beach house.
The Southampton house Andrew Cuomo called home after resigning in disgrace.

Of course when he was governor he split his time between Westchester and an actual mansion in Albany, paid for by you and me. (This was the second time nepo Andy got to live in the governor’s mansion!!)
The NY State governor’s mansion in Albany, also home to Andrew Cuomo (twice!).

Next is Andrew Cuomo’s Chappaqua (Westchester County) house that he and girlfriend Sandra Lee shared. It sold for almost $2 million in 2020.

In light of his infantile “mansion boy” dig, a 🧵 on Andrew Cuomo’s humble abodes.

First up, the Douglaston, Queens he sold in 1993. This 6-bedroom house sold for $2.4 million in 2016. Would probably go for at least twice that today.

i believe there are about a hundred and fifty million people like me who would pay $17 to watch benicio del toro as sergio st. carlos plan and execute a tight sunday costco run before he has to man the barbecue after his niece's afternoon soccer game (run time: 2 hours 20 minutes)

tl;dr - go outside. At night (they kind of leave the night part out of the article!).

Why I can't get any writing done, exhibit 10,000:

Chasing down a tangential spicy anecdote about an obscure Edwardian-era publisher led me to determine his wikipedia page is wrong. The cited source, a biography of a writer, is incorrect. The biographer was sloppy. I found primary documentation.

NEW: Jeffries praises Eric Adams in a statement, saying he has "served courageously and authentically for decades" and that "meaningful progress has been made" during his mayoralty.

Says he will "publicly weigh in" on the mayoral race "well before the start of early voting.”

We have always been at war with Ikea.
DJT Truth post “
We will be imposing a 50% Tariff on all Kitchen Cabinets, Bathroom Vanities, and associated products, starting October 1st, 2025.
Additionally, we will be charging a 30% Tariff on Upholstered Furniture. The reason for this is the large scale "FLOODING" of these products into the United States by other outside Countries. It is a very unfair practice, but we must protect, for National Security and other reasons, our Manufacturing process. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”
