Girls, Gays and Theys, Ive written a poem. Its my first one in years and the first time in a decade that wasnt a haiku, so please be nice.
Its on a topic close to my heart. I hope you enjoy.
Its titled when will we be safe?

When will we be safe?

When will we be safe?
We can't take another strafe.
Fighting to exist,
When we go will we be missed?
Either we die a little inside,
Fighting against the snide.
All we want is to be ourselves.
But it all overwhelms,
In a country that's hates,
Belittles and berates.
Just another scapegoat,
With bigots free to gloat.
We watch our community dying,
When all we do is keep fighting.

When will we be safe?
Not just another waif,
Is compassion too much?
I thought as such.
Rich billionaires in their castle,
Just another vassal.
In glee watching our rights,
Being taken away by knights.
We just want to be free,
But are forced to flee
Which they watch with glee
When we can't express
Attacked to excess.

We just want to exist
But all we get is dissed.
Media despises us,
We don't see the fuss.
Bathroom bans won't work,
Stop being a jerk.
We just want to be free,
Not have to worry where to pee.
But they disagree,
All they see is happiness,
And in response nastiness.

We just want to exist.
Why can't they just resist?
We just want to be safe?
Away from all the strafe.
To be our authentic selves.
We all had to delve.
Being honest it hurts
When you call us perverts.
All it does is diverts,
From the main issue
That's what you won't admit to.

We are not a threat,
Fed up of this tête-à-tête,
We want to pee in peace,
So can these attacks cease?
The gents is perilous,
So stop being tyrannous,
We don't want to assault,
We are not at fault.
If a man wants to attack,
He won't look back,
He will enter with impunity,
And find his opportunity.
So ladies let's stand in unity,
We don't want to fight,
We stand with you in this plight.

We just want to be unharmed,
Quite rightly alarmed,
At all this hate,
Your fight we equate,
We just want to be the authentic us,
So please don't shout and cuss,
We stand shoulder to shoulder,
The bigots and haters will just get bolder,
So let's ensure that they become moulder.
We don't want to aggravate,
We just don't want to wait,
Till our rights have diminished,
And even then they won't have finished.

Just like you, we want to be safe.

Imagine if this was any other demographic other than trans people. Like, imagine this was a black journalist reporting on white supremacists, getting told their kind isn't allowed to even be near them in public, while the police treat them like they are being awkward for resisting that peacefully.

Please explain how controls on social media and cell phones would have prevented these two 15-year-old killers from murdering Brianna Ghey in cold blood with knives.

Scarlett Jenkinson and Eddie Ratcliffe who were 15 when they killed the girl.

What you see here is
- a transphobic demo in a public place
- a trans journalist is reporting on it, quietly taking notes
- the organisers involve the police because they believe the presence of any trans person is a violation of their rights somehow

Imo fireworks should be restricted to registered events only on specific days of the year.
And they should use silent fireworks.

They shouldn’t be available for the use of the general public.
They harm animals, humans, and the environment.

Ya know when straights ask why there's a pride month... this is why. People around the globe can be arrested (or worse) just for being LGBT, denied marriage solely due to whom they love or in this instance simply attending a queer marriage.

Obviously she has no convictions and is more useless than the POS tory who she kicked out of office. At least they probably would have voted, even if not the way I'd want.

Farage's motion on leaving the European Convention on Human Rights failed: 154 votes to 96

All 4 @greenparty.org.uk MPs voted against it, because we believe international agreements on human rights are a good thing.

But only 63 out of 401 Labour MPs did:

Even when my pain is at a consistent level, my ability to cope with it can vary massively depending on lots of circumstances (many of which I don’t even know about).

It’s a reason pain scoring… doesn’t work for me. Because a “7” can be “manageable”, but it can also be too much.

This is taking the piss a bit. 2 hours 45 on phone to a local health service and still not spoken to someone, just on hold.
What's the point in a phone line if no-one answers the sodding phone!?

A phone call to sexual health services with a call time of 2 hours 45 minutes

Just used disabled facilities whilst out and about. whilst in use (by me) a manager attempted to open the door whilst I was using it so a child could use it, even after stating 4 times it was occupied.
Had a pop saying; if something i was seen id probably be done for indecent exposure due to them.

Yesterday I went out for a spot of lunch, it was delicious!
The awkwardness upon arrival, needing to use the restroom but no disabled in sight. Not comfortable using the ladies(thanks SC) and not appropriately dressed for the mens left me only the one option.
Staff were lovely, few guests stared.

Spent an hour and quarter in the (now warm) hot tub.
First time wearing new swimsuit and it felt right, even if it didnt look it.
What a way to start a Saturday!

Ive just had my first nightmare since starting hrt. Woke up absolute in bits crying like a fire hose and they won't stop.
