Im telling you, this is still the best way to combat this, because it would be a massive fuck you and remove *most* of the younger membership of the WI - something they desperately need to have a future at all.
The answer, in terms of 'what the Average Joe do to combat the attempts to oust trans people from society' is to just start new clubs that are renamed the inclusive womens institute, and let their crusty old clubs die with their members.

For years the NHS doled out SSRIs to me (they didn’t really help).
Therapy? Sourced and paid for by me.
Trans healthcare? Sourced and paid for by me.
Just getting a blood test out of my GP (to check my hormone levels) is a mission.
The NHS is an *obstacle* to me getting the care I need.
