My friend Tasneem and her family in Gaza have lost everything; their home, their livelihood, their security. This is the case for thousands of Gazans. I support Tasneem, there are many more in need.

Please give to Tasneem so she can feed her children and raise funds to escape. And to others. ❤️🙏

This discourse was tired in 2012 and it’s tired now, but it’s certainly rich coming from the guy promoting a four and a half hour LADY SNOWBLOOD fanfic right now.

This movie is criminally underseen and should be a part of your annual Thanksgiving watch rotation. Such a sweet rom-com that’s unafraid to be a little raunchy, and the Midwestern gay subplot is one of the very best.

I've gotten some pretty life-affirming compliments, but Adam Carter Rehmeier said that the @thisendsatprom.bsky.social episode on DINNER IN AMERICA is the definitive analysis of the film and I don't know if anything will ever top that for me.
What is the best compliment you ever received? Putting aside whether or not you believed it.

I think we can safely say that the Leavitt's brother called ICE on his ex, the mother of his child, and I have to say: I have no desire to respect, find common ground or share the country with these monsters.
“After Ferreira was detained, Dos Santos Rodrigues said Michael Leavitt Sr. and his father, Bob Leavitt, reached out to her.”

“‘They just kept saying, ‘Tell her to self-deport,’” she recalled. “Self-deport to where? Brazil is not her home.’” www.bostonglobe.com/2025/11/26/m...

I once asked a bookseller at a large indie store how many people would have to buy a book for it to get the attention of the store buyer and cause an additional order and they said: Three.
I see some book piracy discourse, and, to make a positive argument in favor of buying books, your marginal ability to influence what books get published and support the careers of writers you like is massive compared to most other forms of media.

For the uninitiated:

I started a horror blog when I was 18 called "Day of the Woman: A Blog for the Feminine Side of Fear." It's also what got me published in my first book about film. This led to my first documentary appearance in GROWING UP W/ I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE.

If Zootopia was a film teaching not to judge a book by its cover, #Zootopia2 is an exploration of how the stereotypes that pit us against each other came to be & the lengths the wealthy elite will go to maintain a status quo that keeps some communities demonized.
