As someone that regularly *creates* shipping manifests, it is deeply hilarious to me that anyone thinks manifests never have errors, misspellings, or just plain judgement calls.
I literally just spent an hour at a ship tonight tearing apart a pallet because, well, the computer tried its best.

Actually, I think this is the ONE time I don’t object to “Third World” being misused.
I’m sure you know this, but to explain:
The original usage was
1st - US + allies
2nd - USSR + Allies
3rd- Everyone else
I think, given how many alliances we’ve blown up, we may well be 3rd world in the original use

But if what I’m saying really were to happen, which I of course don’t actually think will, there would be no point to reserving Justices in that way, so they could adjust the rules accordingly.

Well that wouldn’t even require a congressional majority, just a D president, so I think that’s tangential to what I was saying. Important, yes, but it can happen on its own timeline.

Sure, but as a practical matter that’ll need to be step 4 or 5, just getting the votes together for the impeachments.
This could be step 1 on day 1.

If we have a majority in the senate, quickest way is to just renominate all article 3 judges as Supreme Court justices. The GOP kindly has changed the debate rules to allow batch confirmations with a simple majority, so just do them all day 1 (except the obvious assholes like Kascmaryk).

Specifically, I’d not hold his prior peacemaking efforts with Trump against him. What we see now is probably more of what we’ll get if he’s in the White House.

Somewhat, but also relevant to your claim. His actions prior to Nov 2024 were done by a different person. We have to evaluate his actions as a presidential candidate within the timeline of when he was really acting as one.
That goes both ways of course. He’s improved in some areas since then too.
