Made this meme years ago and thought I'd share it here for Wrath Month. 🏳️‍🌈🗝
A meme with the text " Gay Pride is over. We're done with that. " over the top of a picture of Sora from Kingdom Hearts, followed by the text " Now we're doing GAY WRATH " over the top of a picture of Sora in his shadowy Anti Form from Kingdom Hearts 2.

a lot of tech bosses seem to be allergic to two basic things their workers axiomatically accept

1) a woman can say no

2) a man can transition into a woman

Hahahaha!

Thanks to ya'll here on Bluesky I found out my doctor was doing something illegal. Went to report it and found out that the agency where you report it to is permanently closed.

So that's cool and fun and the government is functioning perfectly, no notes.

NEW: Pentagon officials are forcing staff to watch Pete Hegseth's "Warrior" speech he forced generals to listen to.

Officials are even "testing" staff to see if they watched — and are threatening consequences if they lie about watching it or if they mock it, sources tell @swin24.bsky.social and I.
The Pentagon Is Ordering Staff to Watch Hegseth’s ‘MAGA Garbage’ Speech… Or Else
Defense Department sources tell Zeteo that staff have been warned that if they don’t watch or read the speech, or if they speak negatively of it, they could face severe consequences.

"I don't hear her talking about women's rights, I just hear her talking about trans people." absolutely spot on about Rowling.

Carole Malone, "Youu can't say what women's rights are because you're not a woman"

Zack Polanski, "You're not trans are you. We can all say you're not that thing so you can't have an opinion" 🔥

this officially tops the "outage caused because the request to send an email was phrased too aggressively", a previous high water mark for LLM censoriousness breaking prod

We had an outage because Qwen 2.5 refused to do anything for a prompt that was modified to add a table of markets with Taiwan and China as separate countries. Wouldn’t do the SA task without a disclaimer that Taiwan is an integral part of China added. Not a sex thing but censorship is insidious

We'd like to show you another part of Campus Tirol Motorsports formula student car: A self developed Accumulator Management System. It consists of the AMS, nine Cell Supervision Circuits and a Precharge Circuit. The team wrote more about the project in this post: community.aisler.net/t/self-devel...
Close-up of the Accumulator Management System (AMS) and precharge PCB designed by Campus Tirol Motorsport. The AISLER logo is visible on the lower-right section of the board. Components include capacitors, MOSFETs, and connectors for high-voltage and data interfaces. Cell Supervision Circuit (CSC) board developed for Campus Tirol Motorsport’s 600 V accumulator. The elongated PCB integrates voltage dividers, an LTC6812 IC for measurement and balancing, and edge connectors for integration into the CSC Mech housing. Side view of a fully assembled accumulator stack used in the team’s electric race car. Multiple CSC boards are mounted on each module, linked by orange power and data connectors. The lower compartment houses power electronics, including precharge and AMS boards. Top view of one of the nine accumulator stacks from the Campus Tirol Motorsport Formula Student race car. Each module contains multiple lithium-ion cells monitored by narrow Cell Supervision Circuit (CSC) boards. The CSCs handle temperature and voltage measurements for individual cells and connect via orange high-voltage and data connectors.

I'm surprised by fact I am not female in my records any more - I've been registered as female on my medical records since 2007.

She booked me in for an ultrasound and will see if there's any way to confirm eligibility for routine mammography. I was calm throughout and think that helped her relax.

Just got a call from a lovely but very nervous Dr, who advised I wouldn't be routinely screened for breast cancer because I'm not indicated as being "biologically female" on the central NHS database and my biology wouldn't indicate I'm at risk.

My records have been altered, which is upsetting.

I said after the SC ruling that we'd basically already defeated them, however much shit they throw at us. Trans people will always exist. They can't bring about a world without trans people in it. So naturally they're demoralised, because they might win the odd battle but they can never win the war.
transsalamander.bsky.social
The way gender criticals keep revealing that they truly thought once they made being trans in public illegal trans people would just quietly go away is so infuriating and insulting, but at least they sound really demoralized from it. I hope it's bad enough that they fuck off!

After signing up for self-deportation, Emily and Deybis sold their car and moved to an unfinished basement. But DHS never sent them the promised plane tickets.

Now they worry about surviving winter. Weeks ago, they sold their daughter’s bed to pay rent.

➡️ Read more: https://propub.li/4ohnDm6
Article excerpt: Emily said she made clear the family didn’t have Venezuelan passports but was told that wouldn’t be a problem; the U.S. government would procure any necessary documents for them. They said the operator gave them an Aug. 1 departure date and told them to expect their plane tickets by email.

Emily and Deybis sold their car and moved with their children to Columbus, Ohio, where Deybis’ nephew let them stay in his unfinished basement apartment until their departure. The plane tickets never came.

Then the nephew was detained in a traffic stop and deported. Panicked, Emily and Deybis said they called the toll-free number again and again, leaving messages that went unanswered. Emily submitted a new application and sent more emails. Article excerpt: ...They found travel agencies that offer to procure travel documents at a cost but said they were told the Venezuelan government requires an arrival date and proof that plane tickets have been purchased. Emily and Deybis can’t afford them.

“Thank you so much for your patience and we understand your frustration,” they heard back in another email. “Wait for new instructions from DHS.”

As they wait, they worry about how they’ll survive when winter comes. Most days, Deybis visits local food pantries and looks for discarded items in alleys and on street corners that they can resell. A few weeks ago, they sold their daughter’s bed to help pay the rent.

“We’d rather be in Venezuela with our family than suffer here,” he said.

My humble (if cluttered) workbench. This is my cozy place!
My workbench. There's an open area in the center, but the rest is filled with old PC motherboards in testbenches, soldering equipment, test equipment, keyboards, and wires. The area surrounding is stacked with boxes, old cd-rom drives, compact Macintosh computers, Commodore 64s, Amigas, MSX computers, etc.

uhhh Huel?

two of the products we tested — Huel's Black Edition meal replacement powder and Naked Nutrition's vegan mass gainer — had enough lead that our experts caution against using them at all

a single serving of these protein powders contained between 1,200 and 1,600% of CR’s level of concern for lead
Two plant-based protein powders contained enough lead that our experts advise against consuming them. Naked Nutrition’s Mass Gainer powder contained 7.7 micrograms of lead per serving, which is roughly 1,570 percent of CR’s level of concern for the heavy metal. One serving of Huel’s Black Edition powder contained 6.3 micrograms of lead, or about 1,290 percent of CR’s daily lead limit.

Two other powders contained lead between 400 and 600 percent of CR’s level of concern: Garden of Life’s Sport Organic Plant-Based Protein and Momentous’ 100% Plant Protein. Consumers should limit these to once a week, Akinleye says. (See company responses below.)

The only non-plant-based protein powder with lead detected at over 200 percent of CR’s level of concern was MuscleMeds’ Carnivor Mass powder. Six additional plant-based powders, five dairy-based powders and shakes, and one beef powder contained lead above CR’s level of concern.

We also found measurable levels of cadmium and inorganic arsenic in some products. One serving of Huel’s Black Edition plant-based protein powder contained 9.2 micrograms of cadmium, more than double the level that public health authorities and CR’s experts say may be harmful to have daily, which is 4.1 micrograms.

Another plant-based option, Vega’s Premium Sport powder, had enough cadmium that one serving would also put you just over that level. In one dairy-based product, Optimum Nutrition’s Serious Mass whey protein powder, we also detected 8.5 micrograms per serving of inorganic arsenic, which is twice the limit of what our scientists say is safe to consume daily.

nearly all the plant-based products we tested had elevated lead levels: vegan powders had 9x as much lead as dairy and 2x as much as beef

though dairy-based powders had the lowest levels, half were still too contaminated for safe daily use

you may be asking: how could this be? well...
