Your mail carrier in Canada, however, *can* accept cash. Even if it isn't cash, consider a little something as a tip, especially for those out there in the lousy weather and of course for all those who lost wages this year due to intransigent, lying management.
Related: your mail carrier can't accept cash because of ethics rules, but they can accept gift cards and physical items valued up to $20 per gift and $50 in a calendar year.

Last month, @outsidemag.bsky.social sent me to spend 14 hours in a suburban ice rink, learning the stories of everyone I met. Why do they skate? I asked. To feel free, they told me. To feel God. To forget, for a minute, what they've done.

Time for my yearly shoutout to my very excellent former therapist who listened to me complain about how I feel like I get so little done in winter and was like “nature’s resting. Why shouldn’t you?”

My god, it was full of stars.

The name "Popular Science" doesn't mean we shift our coverage depending on public opinion. It means we cover relevant subjects that are rigorously researched, reliable, and grounded in reality.

And trans lives are grounded in reality.

We see y'all. No matter what.
