There's a reason I don't fuck with certain people in my family & it's bc I'm an adult & I don't need that static!! It's one of the rare benefits of adulthood, folks. Embrace disappearing from people's lives if they add no value to yours!

Word. It sucks to have to cut ties with people you grew up with who refuse to change, but it opens the door to building found families of people who won’t act like that and who will make holidays genuinely fun.
